The future must be green

Although DIN Forsyning can meet todays heat demands with their new construction, we do not stop finding green alternatives for district heating. We want to bring the modular idea to life. After all, waste to energy will probably not cover 50% of district heating needs in the future. So, we talk to local businesses and the local wastewater treatment plants about using their waste heat. Likewise, if new data centers show up in our district, we will integrate the waste heat into the district heating production. All of us at DIN Forsyning focus sustainable solutions, but circumstances can force us to act differently to uphold security of district heating supply. The modular concept is environmentally friendly, but also gives a very reliable production portfolio.

In total, DIN Forsyning expects to invest more than DKK 1 billion in the green transition within the next 5 years.
